Welcome to the txtit2me Link Builder Wizard

The txtit2me Link Builder is a free tool for you to use to create the link required to send a message via the txtit2me system.

This wizard will allow you to easily:

Enter the text for the message
Test the message
Select the type of link you want to build
Choose the Image you want to use
Enter your partner details - if you have them
Copy the link or email it to yourself or your developer

So when you are ready click.... Start

Step #1 - Write your message

This is where you decide the message you want users to be able to SMS to themselves.
In this step you :

Type the SMS you was to send into the 'Message' box below.
Test the link to make sure it is what you want to say.

Once you are happy you can :

Copy the link to use or
Next with the wizard to add graphics and get update instructions.

Step #2 - Choose what to display

We provide a variety of txtit2me icons for you to include on your site and recommend that you use one that matches the style and colour-scheme of your page. You may also choose to have the link as text only but we would recommend an icon as it is instantly recognizable.

Select the text format for the link:

Saving the Icon

You have chosen to store the image locally so you will need to right mouse on the preview image and save the image in the directory

Adding the Icon

Select the location in your page where you want your link to appear

From the Insert menu select Image Show Me

Either browse to where you saved the image and select it or
in the File Name field type or paste the following Show Me

In the File Name field type or paste the following Show Me

Press the OK button

In the Accessability Attributes dialog the fields may be left blank or populated if you prefer Show Me

Press the OK button

Select the image you have just added and in the Link field of the Properties area type or paste the following Show Me

Adding the Text

Select the location in your page where you want your link to appear

Select the location immediately to the right of the icon you have just added.

Select Hyperlink from the Insert menu. Show Me or use the Hyperlink Tool Show Me

In the Text field of the Hyperlink dialog, type or paste the following:

In the Link field of the Hyperlink dialog, type or paste the following Show Me

Press the OK Button

Select the text you have just added and choose Edit Tag from the Modify menu. Show Me

Press the OK button

Just publish your page in the normal way and you are txtit2me enabled

Saving the Icon

From the Insert menu select Picture then From File Show Me

Either browse to where you saved the image and select it or
in the File Name field type or paste the following Show Me

In the File Name field type or paste the followings Show Me

Press the OK button

Select the image you have just added and choose Hyperlink from the Insert menu. Show Me

In the Address field of the dialog box, type or paste the following Show Me

Press the OK button

If an unwanted border appears around the image, double click it and set the border thickness to 0

Adding the Text

Select the location in your page where you want your link to appear

Select the location immediately to the right of the icon you have just added.

Type or paste the following text:

Select the text you have just added and choose Hyperlink from the Insert menu. Show Me

In the Address field of the dialog box, type or paste the following Show Me

DONE

Just publish your page in the normal way and you are txtit2me enabled

If you want to create another link, press the Next button and enter your next set of details

Updating HTML directly

To update your HTML directly simply copy and paste the following into the required location. Show HTML or Show JavaScript
